Assignment Objective
This assignment aims at evaluating the student’s understanding about different business functions and
different aspects of organizational behavior.
Assignment Tasks
This assignment consists of three parts as follows (100 marks):
Assume that you started your own business and established a company that produced horizontal
reading glass. You are required to answer the following questions.
Part 1 (Marketing Management – 40 marks)
Develop a marketing plan and write a report of 300 words that will highlight the following points:
Place (10 marks)
Product (10 marks)
Price (10 marks)
Part 2 (Motivation – 30 marks)
Discuss how you will motivate your employee by using one of the following motivational theories
1. Maslow’s Theory
2. Theory X and Theory Y
Your choice should be justified with the support of related literature (300 words)
Part 3 (Leadership – 30 marks)
Discuss which leadership style you will follow from the following
1. Autocratic leadership style
2. Democratic leadership style
3. Laissez-faire leadership style
Your answer should highlight both the advantages and disadvantages of the chosen style with support of
literature review (300 words)
