The purpose of this assignment is for you to examine the stress in your life. Reflecting on the past week, make a list of things that caused you stress. Then, apply Lazarus’ model to explain how these events caused feelings of stress. Be sure to answer the following questions:
- How did your feelings of control affect your perception of stress?
- What kinds of things did you do to reduce stress? Did it work? Why or why not?
- What things can you do to prevent stress in the coming week?
- What things can you do to deal with unavoidable stress in the coming week?
